So I made a deal with him that he could set the levels and do the flooring if I did the wall tiles. I was up to 0400 this morning tiling. It was an arduous experience. Having to get tiles set in three planes, (yaw, pitch and roll). and also it’s position is very hard. I ended up doing sort of a reasonable job of it.
Consequently that’s one thing I don’t want to do again.

turned up to deliver the goods for the tilers.
Then the tilers

started work setting the levels in the two bathrooms and laundry. This is a pretty straightforward process and involves lots of sand, cement and spirit levels. But, it’s hard to do, so I left it to the experts. (BTW, the levels are set 1:7).
