Disaster #3

Today we found out from our Principle Certifier that we will need to FINISH COMPLETELY the house before we can get occupancy certification! Aaaaaargh! Our original plan was to finish the kitchen, laundry, eating and bathrooms, move in and then do each room one by one. But now! Aaaaargh! We have to finish everything! That also means landscaping. Aaaaargh!
We managed to get our certifier to agree to give us a temporary certificate. He said do as much as you can, and then I’ll come back and see if I can get one for you. We’ll see what happens….

Council approval!

We finally have approval, (both financial and council), so ‘D’-day will be on the 27th and 28th of April. Come back then and see the action! (That’s if the demolishers don’t knock the TreeCam off!)

It’s been a long grind to just get to approval stage. It’s a real pain having to get anything through any council. We have been to-ing and fro-ing with council since January this year. Anyway – we are finally underway with this whole project.
