Micks Distractions

Aaaaaargh. I inad­ver­tantly deleted a whole swag of pic­tures from the 08/11 to the 19/11. These were mostly pic­tures of me and the plumber doing the drains out the front. I deleted them by mis­take when I was trans­fer­ring them off the cam­era box. Oh well. I should have done them when I was more awake.

Our tiler was busy on other jobs and wouldn’t be able to do all of our job. So I made a deal with him that he could set the lev­els and do the floor­ing if I did the wall tiles. I was up to 0400 this morn­ing tiling. It was an ardu­ous expe­ri­ence. Hav­ing to get tiles set in three planes, (yaw, pitch and roll). and also it’s posi­tion is very hard. I ended up doing sort of a rea­son­able job of it.
Con­se­quently that’s one thing I don’t want to do again.

Back on to the trench­ing. We

chucked in the pipes,

had the odd smoko,

thought about how lit­tle money we have now, and

put in the ag pipe.
Later we filled in the trench and half cov­ered the pipes ready for inspec­tion.

The plumber came today to do a cou­ple of things. I was also there help­ing him out with the storm water trenches and retain­ing pit. We had 9 tonnes of 25mm blue metal dumped and we shifted most of it into the

trenches and pits. If I had tried to do that last year I would have had a really sore back and mus­cles, (being an IT geek I tend to just sit in a chair all day), but since I’ve been build­ing I’m used to it now. I’m down to 75kg now, so it just goes to show what a bit of rigourous con­tin­u­ous exer­cise does for you.

The panorama cam­era is back up again and tak­ing pho­tos, but I can’t reach it across the net­work, must be some­thing wrong.
